Competition: My Intermode Home

Competition Rules, Terms & Conditions:

 

Name of Competition: “ My Intermode Home” (the Competition)

 

Promoter: Intermode Pty Ltd (Intermode)

 

Promotion Entry Period: Competition opens 22 August and closes 8 September 2023

 

Prizes:

 

1st Prize: An architect designed Concept Proposal* for an Intermode House, designed to your brief and on your site located in NSW or Victoria. This prize is valued at $8,800.

 

2nd Prize: Six bottles of wine from Yal Yal Estate Winery.  This prize is valued at $270.

 

Instructions on how to enter the Competition: Enter the competition, by creating your own Moodboard, for your Intermode home, using our moodboard website feature. The home could feature an Intermode Pitch design or our signature flat roof houses – or a combination of both.

 

 

(a) Click this link to create a Moodboard Account.
(b) Click “Moodboard”  and create a Moodboard.  Click on edit and name it:
“Competition 2023 +[Your Full Name]”
(c) Browse the Intermode website and/or our Curated Moodboards. Select images and/or plans to create a Moodboard for your dream Intermode home. (On mobile select the bookmark icon and on desktop click the right upper corner of the image).  Click “edit” to delete images, move images around and re-name your Moodboard.
(d) When you have completed your Moodboard click on share and email your Moodboard to [email protected] on or before the closing date of the competition noted above. Include in the email:

(i) Your name and the full address (or Lot/DP No.) of your property – that you propose to build your dream Intermode Home on;

(ii) A short brief (eg. no. bedrooms, bathrooms, ancillary rooms such as laundry, study, rumpus, outdoor dining, garaging etc.); and

(iii) Optional: If you would like you can attach to the email images and/or videos of your site.

 

(Note: You can update your competition Moodboard up until the closing date mentioned above).

 

Max number of entries per participant: One (1)

 

Age limit: 18+

 

Notification of prize winners: The prizewinners will be notified by email.

 

Announcement of prize winners: Inline with State statutory requirements the names of the prizewinner will be published on the Intermode website (Journal section) for a period of not less than one (1) month.

 

Price claim period: The Prize must be claimed within twelve (12) months of the close of the competition unless specifically agreed with Intermode. The Prize is not transferable to a third party unless expressly agreed by Intermode.

 

Special Conditions of Competition Entry:
+ The project site must be owned by the Entrant, or a relative of the Entrant, and be located in NSW or Victoria.  If owned by a relative then the Entrant must nominate the name of the relative and obtain their permission to enter the competition;
+ Intermode retains copyright of the Concept Proposal;
+ The Concept Proposal produced by Intermode, as the prize for this competition, can not be used by any 3rd party architect, designer or builder without the expressed written permission of Intermode;
+ The Entrant of the competition warrants that the information provided to Intermode in “My Account” is true and correct;
+ Architects, building designers and builders are excluded from entering the competition; and
+ By entering the Competition the Entrant agrees to the Competition Rules, Terms & Conditions.

 

Judges: The  judges for the competition will be the Intermode Design Team.

 

Dispute Resolution: The judges decision will be final and no disputes will be entered into.

 

Privacy: Our Privacy Policy is located on the Intermode website on the contact page.

 

Definitions:

 

* Concept Proposal: The Prize of this competition the following deliverables form part of the Concept Proposal for an Intermode House:

 

+ Google maps desktop review of your block of land by Intermode;
+ One (1) visit to site by Intermode (only if your site is located within two (2) hours of Melbourne or Sydney CBD);
+ Written return brief for your house and garaging;
+ One (1) Site Analysis;
+ One (1) Site Plan;
+ One (1) Floor Plan;
+ One (1) Freehand Sketch; and
+ Up to six (6) black line computer generated Perspectives of the house (interior and exterior).

 

No changes to the above deliverables will be provided by Intermode as part of the terms of this competition.
