Tell us about your site, your lifestyle and how you would love to live.  Create a short Design Brief for your dream Intermode home and you could win:

Prizes

1st Prize: An Architect designed Concept Proposal* for an Intermode House, designed to your brief and on your site located in Queensland, NSW or Victoria.

This prize is valued at $9,900.

2nd Prize: Two bottles of wine from Yal Yal Estate Winery.  This prize is valued at $96.

How to Enter

Prepare a Design Brief for your perfect Intermode Home (maximum 3 pages). We want to understand your ideas, your story and the way you would like to live.

Your Story & Your Site: who will live in the home, your lifestyle, the site and what makes it special. Include site photographs if available.
Your Brief: the spaces you need and how the home should work, including family life, entertaining, outdoor living, working from home and sustainability.
Your Design Vision: Intermode inspiration, architectural references, materials, colours, moodboards, collages or other creative ideas.

Save your Design Brief as a PDF (max 15 Mb in size) and email it to [email protected].  Include your name, contact details and nominated site address (or Lot/DP No.) in the email.

Optional use of AI – making it even simpler!

If it helps, use AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Co-Pilot or another AI tool) to organise your thoughts, clarify priorities or develop visual inspiration.  AI use is optional and receives no judging preference.

Competition Judges

The judges for the competition will be the Intermode Design Team.

The First Prize Concept Proposal* includes:

+ A Google maps desktop review of your block of land;
+ One site visit if your site is located within two hours of Melbourne or Sydney CBD;
+ Written return brief for your house and garaging;
+ One Site Analysis;
+ One Site Plan;
+ One Floor Plan;
+ One Freehand Sketch; and
+ Up to six black-line computer-generated perspectives, interior and exterior.
