The Competition

Opens on 15 August and closes on 15 September 2025

Prizes:

1st Prize: An Architect designed Concept Proposal* for an Intermode House, designed to your brief and on your site located in Queensland, NSW, Victoria or Tasmania. This prize is valued at $9,900.

2nd Prize: Two bottles of wine from Yal Yal Estate Winery.  This prize is valued at $96.

Instructions on how to enter the Competition:

Enter the competition, by creating your own Moodboard, for your Intermode home, using our moodboard website feature. The home could feature our Intermode Pitch or our signature flat roof design – or a combination of both!

(a) Click this link to create a Moodboard Account.

(b) Click “Moodboard”  and create a Moodboard.  Click on edit and name it:

“Competition 2025 +[Your Full Name]“

(c) Browse the Intermode website and/or our Curated Moodboards. Select images and/or plans to create a Moodboard for your dream Intermode home. (On mobile select the bookmark icon and on desktop click the right upper corner of the image).  Click “edit” to delete images, move images around and re-name your Moodboard.

(d) When you have completed your Moodboard click on share and email your Moodboard to [email protected] on or before the closing date of the competition noted above. Include in the email:

(i) Your name and the full address (or Lot/DP No.) of your property – that you propose to build your dream Intermode Home on;

(ii) A short brief (eg. no. bedrooms, bathrooms, ancillary rooms such as laundry, study, rumpus, outdoor dining, garaging etc.); and

(iii) Optional: If you would like you can attach to the email images and/or videos of your site.

The project site must be owned by the Entrant, or a relative of the Entrant, and be located in Queensland, NSW, Victoria or Tasmania.  If owned by a relative then the Entrant must nominate the name of the relative and obtain their permission to enter the competition.  By entering the Competition the Entrant agrees to the Competition Rules, Terms & Conditions.

(Note: You can update your competition Moodboard up until the closing date of the competition noted above).

Judges:

The judges for the competition will be the Intermode Design Team.

The Concept Proposal* for the prize in the competition will include:

+ Google maps desktop review of your block of land by Intermode;
+ One (1) visit to site by Intermode (only if your site is located within two (2) hours of Melbourne or Sydney CBD);
+ Written return brief for your house and garaging;
+ One (1) Site Analysis;
+ One (1) Site Plan;
+ One (1) Floor Plan;
+ One (1) Freehand Sketch; and
+ Up to six (6) black line computer generated Perspectives of the house (interior and exterior).
